Physical Therapy
Physical therapy focuses on restoring movement, improving function, and relieving pain through personalized assessments and treatment plans. Physical therapy involves techniques such as exercise therapy, manual therapy, education, and rehabilitation strategies to help individuals recover from injury, surgery, or manage chronic conditions.
Beyond general physical therapy for musculoskeletal based injuries, at RANGE our physical therapists are trained in a variety of advanced treatment techniques which are highlighted below:
Sports Physical Therapy
With backgrounds in Kinesiology and Strength and Conditioning, our physical therapists at RANGE have a thorough understanding of sports injuries and rehabilitation to help you in every phase of injury. Our VALD Performance Technology allows us to objectively measure your readiness to return to sport to ensure re-injury risk is mitigated.

Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy
Pelvic floor physical therapy is a specialized form of physical therapy that focuses on the muscles, ligaments, and connective tissues of the pelvic floor. These muscles support the bladder, bowel, and reproductive organs, and play a key role in core stability, urinary and bowel function, and sexual health.
This therapy is designed to assess, treat, and manage conditions such as pelvic pain, incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, and postpartum recovery. Treatment may include manual therapy, targeted exercises, biofeedback, and education to help restore strength, coordination, and function in the pelvic region.
Pelvic floor physical therapy is beneficial for all genders and is often recommended for individuals experiencing discomfort, dysfunction, or recovery following childbirth, surgery, or injury.
At this time our physical therapist Christina D’Aoust is accepting patients on her waitlist for Pelvic Floor Physical therapy, and our physical therapist Erin Reid has taken training for non-internal based Pelvic Floor physiotherapy. As our two pelvic floor therapists have varying levels of training each appropriate more specific conditions, please call the clinic to arrange your intake process so we can determine which practitioner is best for you.
IMS/Dry Needling
IMS (Intramuscular Stimulation) dry needling is a specialized physical therapy technique used to treat chronic muscle pain and dysfunction caused by tight or overactive muscles. It involves inserting thin, sterile needles directly into affected muscles (trigger points) to stimulate a healing response, release tension, and restore normal muscle function.
At this time our physical therapists Christina D’Aoust and Andrew Van der Ham are offering this services as part of their physical therapy practice when indicated.
Clinical Pilates
Clinical Pilates is a form of physical therapy that combines traditional Pilates exercises with clinical expertise to improve movement, strength, posture, and body awareness. Sessions are tailored to each individual’s needs and is guided by a licensed physical therapist to ensure safe, effective movement patterns—especially during injury recovery or rehabilitation.
At this time our physical therapist Christina D’Aoust is offering Clinical Pilates as part of her physical therapy practice when indicated. Christina incorporates Clinical Pilates specific equipment such as a reformer, tower, chair and mat.
Concussion & Vestibular Therapy
Concussion and vestibular physiotherapy is a specialized area of physical therapy focused on assessing and treating symptoms related to concussions and vestibular (inner ear) disorders that affect balance, coordination, and spatial orientation.
New research has shown that rest is no longer best in navigating concussion injuries and can actually be detrimental to long term recovery. Concussion based physical therapy works to gradually return you to physical and cognitive functioning under the guidance of a physical therapist to find the right dosage of rehabilitation for your individual case.
At this time our physiotherapist Andrew van der Ham has additional training in concussion and vestibular management, and our physiotherapist Erin Reid has some training with some common vestibular disorders such as BPPV and Vestibular Neuritis.
Somatic Based Physiotherapy
Somatic based physiotherapy combines traditional physiotherapy with somatic (body-based) techniques to assess and address physical symptoms related to stress, tension, trauma, or chronic pain. In these sessions we will explore how your body holds patterns of movement, posture, and sensation, and begin gentle, guided practices to support nervous system regulation, body awareness, restore balance to your body. In somatic based physiotherapy you can expect a combination of manual therapy, guided breathwork, gentle movement and cueing to help you build connection with and work with areas of tension in the body. Somatic therapy may also be indicated in recovery after physical trauma to reduce guarding that often occurs in response to injury, reducing the risk of developing chronic pain or fear of movement related to your injury.
At this time our physiotherapist Erin Reid is offering our somatic based physical therapy as part of her therapeutic practice when indicated.
