Kassie earned her Bachelor’s of Kinesiology in 2023 and a Master’s of Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia in 2025. She also holds AIM Level 1 certification in Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. During clinical training, she valued working with various populations, including those in cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, individuals with neurological conditions, athletes and people with diverse health goals. She enjoys community involvement by coaching young skiers, setting climbing routes, and supporting events that welcome new climbers. These experiences strengthen her appreciation for community activity and the importance of helping people staying meaningfully active.

Kassie takes a collaborative, client-centered approach, involving patients in creating treatment plans that reflect their goals. She values unique experiences with pain, injury, and rehabilitation and provides a safe, empathetic environment rooted in active listening and compassion. Her treatment combines ongoing assessment, manual therapy techniques, and individualized exercise programs supported by education for lasting progress.

Originally from Vancouver Island, she spent much of her childhood in the Kootenays and recently returned. She is a downhill and backcountry skier, competitive mountain biker, rock climber, runner and hiker. Her own significant injuries gave her insight into the physical and mental challenges of rehabilitation and highlighted the value of empathetic care from a physiotherapist who understands the demands of specific activities.

Drawing from personal and clinical experience, Kassie is passionate about helping patients navigate chronic pain, return to sport, or build strength and wellness for the first time. She strives to meet people where they are and support meaningful movement that aligns with their goals and lifestyle.
