Christina earned her Masters of Physiotherapy from the University of British Columbia in 2020. Prior to working as a physiotherapist, Christina previously worked as a Kinesiologist. Christina is passionate about helping others in the community recover from injury so that they can return to the activities that they enjoy. Since graduating, Christina has completed several continuing education certifications and specializes in both Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy and Clinical Pilates. She has also completed her certification for IMS/Dry Needling. Living in a rural community, Christina chooses to keep her physiotherapy practice dynamic and well-rounded so that she can continue to serve a variety of clientele beyond her areas of specialization. Christina is currently working towards further training in golfer-specific rehab to support golfers in the community with their unique sport related injuries.

Christina’s approach to treatment is rooted in attentive listening – understanding each of her patients goals, lifestyle and unique needs. She is known for her empathetic presence that makes her patients feel heard and safe. Christina believes that care should meet you exactly where you are at, physically, mentally and in life. When working with Christina you can expect a wide variety of treatment modalities such as hands-on techniques, IMS, education, personalized exercise programs or a combination of the above. Christina believes that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to rehab. During your time together you can expect a collaborative approach that feels realistic, effective and sustainable for you. Christina’s goal as a physiotherapist extends beyond just symptom management, but strives to help you build strength, confidence and long term resilience.

As a lifelong Kootenay resident, Christina has always loved being outdoors and is often found exploring with her two Jack Russells by her side. When not at the clinic you can find Christina running, riding bikes, hiking or trying her best at golf.
